I am a big supporter of learning with all senses, so my sessions often include practicals and manual work on objects.”

About Me
I am a well-trained professional Science Teacher with over 5 years of experience working in education. I have done a master’s degree and PGCE in Poland. In England, I hold a QTS. I currently work in a SEN school with neurodivergent students. I have learned a lot during my career, which has made me very proud.
I love working with students and seeing them grow. I understand what helps students feel more confident and engaged and how to implement this in the daily practice of my teaching. I have experience with a wide range of Special Educational needs and how to support them. I have vast experience working with very different personalities and characters and have learned a lot from my students.
How I teach children with SEND
How I support children and young people who have cognition and learning differences
Currently, I am teaching in a school dedicated only to students with trauma, anxiety, and other mental well-being challenges. Our teaching is student-centered and personalized so students can take ownership of their wins and successes, this boosts their well-being and self-esteem. How I provide for children and young people who have ASD
One of the best tools I use is visualization. It improves communication and the student’s understanding of the material during the session. I make many of my resources specifically tailored to each student’s needs. I am familiar with the syllabus for KS3 and KS4 so students have a choice of which qualifications they think they can achieve. I am familiar with not only GCSE requirements from the main exam boards but also many other qualifications including Entry levels and Functional skills. I am a big supporter of learning with all senses, so my sessions often include practicals and manual work on objects.
How I provide for children and young people who have mental health needs
After a few years of working as a teacher for neurodivergent students, I have learned that first, you need to build relationships with them. I am very proud to teach these students, making me a more well-rounded teacher. Recently we had many things to celebrate as most of the students got their GCSE grades higher than expected.

A passionate teacher within a special educational needs setting. Acknowledged for my enthusiasm within teaching and my ability to connect with each student I teach.
I strongly believe in the Maslow hierarchy of needs model and embrace the idea that basic needs need to be met before learning can take place.”
