Joining us this week, we have with us, Lisa Kerr, who is the founder of @ADHDbrain.Coach www.ADHDbrain.Coach (she is a business coach, mentor, and consultant) based in Sussex, and she is also a co-founder of www.camdenopenairgallery.com (Camden Street art gallery).
Lisa is autistic and has ADHD and her son is autistic, ADHD, and dyspraxic https://www.linkedin.com/company/adhd-brain-coach/

She has also done a training course to become a Certified ADHD Life Coach so she can provide more effective coaching to neurodivergent business owners.
Before we met I sent these three questions:
1. When we met before we started having a conversation about society assigning superpowers to autistic/autism and how that’s not that helpful. Please could you outline the discussion and give your opinion?
2. Do you think that the press and society are becoming more Au fait with the neurodiverse community or that there’s a lot of work still to do?
3. What in the near future would you like to see change?
During our conversation, we discussed how autism and other diagnosis’ has come to be viewed as a superpower and how that shuts down the dialogue as we tend to celebrate the positives and mask the struggles. Whereas, we need to have a balance between what are the daily struggles people face as well as the benefit of neurodiversity.
